White couscous has a light, fluffy texture which is a little bland in flavour but readily soaks up the flavours of other ingredients. That said, it is slightly sweeter and less earthy than its wholewheat counterpart.
Though usually cooked in water, it can be transformed in other liquids, like apple juice, and served with dried fruit and honey.
This white couscous will arrive in a paper bag which we will soon replace with something reusable!
